From 22 to 25 March 2024, the Goethe-Institut in Exile is organizing an interdisciplinary cultural festival with the Belarusian cultural scene in the diaspora at Kunsthaus ACUD in Berlin. The program includes the musician Valeria Dele with her band KOOB, the theater maker Jura Dzivakoŭ, the performance collective Keep Minsk Weird as well as the writers Sasha Filipenko, Eva Viežnaviec, Alhierd Bacharevič and Julia Cimafiejeva and our project "33 books for another Belarus".

On 23 March we will be presenting the "33 Books" at the Leipzig Book Fair with the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb, Hall 2, B303, moderated by Carolin Savchuk) and with the German Academy for Language and Poetry (15:00, Hall 2, B 401, moderated by Ingo Schulze).

In autumn we will present the project and individual books in Berlin and Greifswald, and in spring in Zurich and Innsbruck. We will inform you soon.

From 22 to 24 September, international Belarus researchers will come together for the eleventh time as part of an international congress, this time in Gdansk, Poland. At the panel "Avant-garde, Search, Tradition: Appropriation and Development", Zmicier Vishniou will present the anthology "Нетутэйшыя: Reversion", prepared by his publishing house and now published by DIAPHANES, and talks about the role of the "33 Books for Another Belarus".

On 21 June 2023 at 7:00 pm, in collaboration with the Literaturhaus Basel, Iryna Herasimovich (translator) and Sylvia Sasse (Slavist) will hold a dialogue at the Philosophicum Basel. The discussion will be followed by a conversation between Michael Heitz (publisher of diaphanes Verlag) and Zmicer Vishniou (publisher and author). Nadine Reinert will be the moderator of the event.
